How do I test my webcam online?
Press Start camera and allow access. The live preview and active-track settings show what this browser receives from your selected webcam.
Does this webcam test upload my video?
No. The live stream is handled in your browser. A photo is created and downloaded locally only when you choose.
Why does the actual size differ from the resolution I selected?
The menu requests a resolution; your device and browser choose an available setting. The displayed video size comes from the active track.
What if the camera preview is black?
Check the privacy shutter, light, selected camera, and other apps using it. If capture will not start at all, check browser and system permissions.
